Snowy Spring

This is a picture of my new snow friend from the crazy Kansas snowstorm today! I guess it really has nothing to do with Australia, except for the fact that it won't ever look like this in Brisbane!

I have been reading back through some of our old blog posts from last year's team and marvel at all the Lord allowed us to learn and the incredible people He put in our path. I can't wait to see what He has up His sleeve for this July (and even now as we prepare!).

Going to Brisbane

Woo hoo! We're headed to Brisbane this summer: July 6-23rd!

• See everyone tomorrow night @ 6:45. We will discuss Compassion Chapter 3 and some fundraiser details. Have a super Thursday!

Care Package Fundraiser Details: April 23rd.

We need HEAPS of homemade cookies and helping hands on the 23rd at 8Pm in Smith.

A Few Team Reminders

G'day Team! Here are a few reminders about upcoming events, deadlines, etc. I'm going to start posting info on this blog as well in team e-mails.

• Our next meeting will be March 26th at 6:45 PM. We'll continue with Compassion Chapter 3 and get some details set up for our next fundraiser.


• Next Applebees Fundraiser: Sunday, April 5 from 4-9PM. Each customer needs a flyer for us to receive the 20% donation.


• Krispy Kreme Fundraiser: Thursday, April 16 and Saturday morning, April 18th. We've got some tables reserved to sell donuts to heaps of hungry teenagers at MAX (Mid-America eXtreme)!
